Statistical Vp-Vs relationships from well logs in Blackfoot

The statistical relationships between compressional wave velocity (VP) and shear wave velocity (VS) are evaluated from dipole logs of four wells in the Blackfoot area. The derived relationships from linear regression analysis are compared with Castagna's mud-rock line.
